What the heck is a Cycle-Too?

Cycle-Too’s are a great way to customize your ride without the expense and downtime of a traditional custom paint job.

Think about all the reasons why people tattoo themselves, a great way to express yourself and make yourself unique, a way to remember something or someone and variety of other reason to get a tattoo. Well why not do the same for your ride?

Our entry level Cycle-Too’s start by choosing one of our 3 stock designs on your tank, over your existing paint for $299

Our $299 is for one tank with two small Cycle-Too’s on each side of the tank.

We do not paint the entire tank just add the Cycle-Too’s to the sides, since we go over the existing paint, it will still obviously match the rest of your bike. This can save tons of downtime as you do not need to remove all the sheet metal from your entire bike. Cycle-Too’s are approx 4×5 inches in size and can go on almost all makes and models of motorcycles.

Why are Cycle-Too’s so much cheaper than a full custom paint job?

Well other than the reason and advantages already mentioned, much of it is in prep time. On our full custom paint jobs, we strip the existing paint all the way down to the bare metal, we remove any slight dings and imperfections and apply top of the line primer to the bare metal. This process or prep work is very labor intensive of course increasing the price of a custom paint job. On a Cycle-Too we just lightly sand the surface of the existing clear, leaving your original paint in tact. We then airbrush the Cycle-Too’s and then clear coat the entire tank. On the down side since we are not taking the tank to the bare metal and applying new primer as on our full custom paint jobs we can’t offer the same quality warranty as we do on those jobs so a limited warranty is available on Cycle-Too’s but we will do our best to make sure you are happy with your Cycle-Too’s.

While many people getting a custom paint job take their bike to a dealer or mechanic to disassemble the bike, many riders can remove the tank themselves. We still suggest you talk to someone that knows how to do it though.

Our larger piece Cycle-Toos start at $599 great for a smaller murals on the front fairing of a dresser or trunk of a trike.

We have more elaborate Cycle-Toos for two pieces like the front fender and a tank or we also can do custom Cycle-Toos to match a design of your choice, custom Cycle-Toos are priced on a per quote basis.

Any other reason to get a Cycle-Too?

Yes, lots of reasons! Some people like the color of their current sheet metal and just want to make their bike a little more unique, some riders maybe just want to dress the bike up a little before putting it up for sale. Maybe you are planning on getting a new ride in the near future and don’t want the expense of a full custom paint job, in this economy maybe you just want something now and can’t afford a full paint job now.
